Our latest version of NaviPlan includes changes to retirement saving with the SECURE Act, updated tax calculations, dynamic reporting graphics, and client report improvements.

Tax updates

Updates to federal and state tax calculations provide the most up-to-date analysis. Some keys changes include:

  • Tax bracket updates
  • Gifting exclusion updates
  • Social Security annual updates
  • AMT threshold and exemption updates
  • State tax rate and deduction updates for:
    • Arizona
    • Connecticut
    • Kentucky
    • Maine
    • Minnesota
    • Missouri
    • New Hampshire
    • Ohio

SECURE Act

Per the SECURE Act, NaviPlan:

  • Begins RMD distributions at age 72.
  • Allows Traditional IRA contributions past age 70.5.

Report graph improvements

In-app and Quick Action report graphs have a new look with enhanced functionality. Graphs now offer filtering that dynamically highlights data for client needs. This change makes graphs easier to read and more beneficial during client meetings.

Default font change for client reports

Updates to the default font used in client reports enhance the readability of text. The new font incorporates users feedback experienced based on their computer setup.
