To our valued partners,

In light of the recently discovered processor vulnerabilities – colloquially being referred to as Meltdown and Spectre by news outlets – Advicent would like to clarify that we are meticulously tracking the implications of both security flaws and that we remain unwavering in our commitment to your organization’s data security.

For additional context, this new class of vulnerabilities, referred to as speculative execution side-channel attacks, affect most modern processors and operating systems. This theoretical attack requires malicious code to be executed on a target system in order to be exploited.

Advicent has a comprehensive security program in place to prevent malicious code execution. Nevertheless, our IT and Product teams are working closely with vendors to obtain and apply any necessary fixes to all impacted systems. All fixes will go through the normal testing process to ensure they do not negatively impact functionality or performance.

While the unprecedented global scale of these vulnerabilities is understandably alarming, we remain confident that our existing preventative protocols will continue to ensure that your business’ data remains safely protected. We understand that this data is your organization’s most important asset, and we will continue to provide nothing less than the best protection.

If you have any additional questions, our support team can be reached at (888) 692-3474 or support@advicent.com.

Regards,
